Backstage Equipment has been designing and manufacturing equipment handling carts and accessories for the Film and Television industry since 1979. We are the largest retailer specializing in Magliner customized products and accessories – producing over one hundred specialized carts for virtually every behind-the-scene craft including: Lighting, Grip, Camera, Video, Sound, Photography, Steadi-Cam, DIT, Basecamp and Prop. Our carts and equipment have become standard items for all major studios, rental houses, production centers and freelancers throughout the world.

MAGLINER Junior Case Cart

The Magliner Junior Modified Cart was made with the Camera Assistant, Sound, Photographer and Steadi-Cam Operator in mind. Some of the alterations we’ve made are the replacement of the 5” stock wheels with 8” pneumatics with brakes, custom Toe Plate, Nose and Frame re-enforcement, pre-drilled cart to accept all bolt-on accessories.

MAGLINER MINI Case Cart

The Magliner Mini Cart has been around now for over ten years. It has been a favorite with still photographers, DIT’s and camera/video operators using the latest digital film gear. All Magliner accessories work with this cart, in addition, some new accessories have been created exclusively for this version. Cart comes pre-drilled to accept all accessories available.
